Quartz Filters are used for air sampling of acidic gases, stacks, flues, and aerosols. Effective at high temperatures up to 964°F (500°C). Meet requirements for EPA PM-10 µm and PM-2.5 µm testing to sample particles down to 2.5 µm. High purity quartz (SiO2) microfiber filters have low levels of alkaline earth metals, eliminating artifact products of sulfates and nitrates (from SO2 and NO2).
