The Gospel of Glitter & Grit Job Hunting with Jesus and Juice Boxes, Book 2, (Paperback)

What happens when a burned out job seeker accidentally finds his calling in the middle of snack time and spilled juice boxes?

Job Hunting with Jesus and Juice Boxes is a hilariously heartfelt memoir about faith in the trenches, ministry in the chaos, and finding purpose when life feels like one long rejection email.

Alex-part-time children's ministry assistant, full-time overthinker-never planned on being "the juice box guy." He was supposed to be climbing corporate ladders, not wiping glitter off them. But after losing his job, dodging another "We loved you, but..." email, and surviving one too many unpaid church volunteer shifts, Alex begins to realize that maybe God's plan doesn't come with a LinkedIn endorsement.

What starts as a temporary ministry gig turns into a crash course in faith, humility, and holy humor. Between teaching Bible stories to toddlers and surviving snack time disasters, Alex begins to see how God uses chaos to rebuild character-and how the smallest hands can deliver the biggest lessons.

Through 75 laugh out loud, tear through your heart chapters, you'll follow Alex's journey through job hunting, burnout, anxiety, ministry messes, and divine surprises. Each story blends comedy and faith with brutal honesty and deep reflection, offering a reminder that grace often shows up in the places we least expect-like a sticky church classroom on a Sunday morning.

What You'll Find Inside:

Theology meets therapy meets juice box explosions.

Honest stories about burnout, purpose, and the waiting season that changes everything.

Relatable humor for anyone who's ever been unemployed, underpaid, or over-caffeinated.

Lessons on how to laugh, rest, and trust when God's timing makes zero sense.

Kids who unknowingly teach better sermons than most adults.

Perfect For Readers Who:

Are navigating career uncertainty or spiritual burnout.

Love faith-based humor like Blue Like Jazz or Everybody Always.

Appreciate real, unpolished Christian storytelling with a punch of comedy.

Have ever asked, "God... are You sure this is the plan?"

At its core, Job Hunting with Jesus and Juice Boxes is not just about finding a job-it's about finding joy again. It's about discovering that miracles don't always come in shining moments-they come in sticky hands, awkward interviews, and the slow rebuilding of confidence after every "no."

Because sometimes the greatest lessons about purpose aren't learned in boardrooms or prayer circles-they're learned while handing out Goldfish crackers to a room full of kids who believe that faith, like snack time, should be shared with everyone.

Funny, hopeful, and unexpectedly healing-this is your reminder that God's plan might not be what you pictured, but it's probably better.

Amen. You're hired. You're home. You're enough.
