Panduit S100X400VATY Thermal Transfer Self-Laminated Label, Vinyl, 3-Inch Core, White (2,500-Pack)

The Panduit S100X400VATY is a roll of white thermal transfer label material for printing 1 x 4 inch labels for marking cable or wire. The roll has a 3" core. These labels have a 1" printable area and will fit wire with an outside diameter of 0.32 to 0.95 inches or #2 to #1 American Wire Gauge (AWG). The label material is vinyl, which resists oil, has low moisture absorption, and is non-conductive. The labels have a pressure sensitive adhesive backing, a fold-over laminate for protection against dirt and moisture, and a temperature range of -40 to +200 degrees F. This roll of 2,500 labels is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive and is recommended for use with Panduit's RMH4BL hybrid thermal transfer ribbon.Thermal transfer (TT) labels come in sheets, rolls, or cassettes with an adhesive backing and a surface material die-cut into individual shapes for use in thermal transfer printers. As the label passes through the printer, a thermal printhead melts a coating of wax or resin from the ink ribbon onto the label where it is then absorbed. This printing method is typically used in manufacturing for in-house printing of bar codes and alphanumeric identification, price tags, warning labels, and other specialty print jobs.
