Leaving Legacies: Activities to Help Parents Cope with Parenting Difficult Children/Teens

This book is designed to give parents new ways of thinking and new techniques for parenting their children/teens. Its purpose is to increase awareness for parents and their children related to family unity and positive communication patterns. I wrote this book to help parents with their children before or after a difficult time has risen. Parents are position to think about whether their parents’ methods were effective when they were being raised. Did their parent’s style bring them closer to them, or push them away? Did the parent grow up angry and bitter towards their parents, or still love them and seek to honor them? Knowing the answers to these questions will help parents understand why their child-rearing methods may or may not be effective with their children. For Parents' convenience, I have included a Family Meeting Guide at the back of the book. Use this information to have more productive family discussions. This book is able to help parents talk effectively to children 7+/teens with the use of the activities. Parents will be able to practice anger management using plain language when talking to their children 7+/teens. Parents that are still parenting adult children can also use this workbook. The point is to decrease stubbornness, tantrums, outburst, not listening and created happy children/teens who lead.
