Expert Gardener Kieffer Pear Live Tree in 3.75-Gallon Grower Pot

The Expert Gardener 3.75-gallon Kieffer Pear Live Tree is a hardy, fast-growing fruit tree known for its crisp, juicy pears and low-maintenance care. It thrives in full sun, requiring at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal flowering and fruiting. Adaptable to a wide range of climates, it performs well in USDA Hardiness Zones 4 through 9. At maturity, the tree typically reaches a height of 15 to 20 feet and a width of 15 to 20 feet, forming a rounded canopy ideal for backyard orchards. After planting, water deeply to establish roots, then maintain consistent moisture with weekly deep watering, especially during dry spells. The Kieffer Pear prefers well-drained, slightly acidic soil and is self-fertile, meaning it can produce fruit without a second pollinator tree. Its pears ripen in late summer to early fall, making them perfect for fresh eating, baking, and preserving. This tree is an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners looking to enjoy homegrown fruit with minimal fuss.
